Karen duets with Ray
In the video of her duet, Karen is seen walking through the trees, wearing her normal task outfit, and playing a guitar.
She also plays the part of Ray O’Leary, wearing glasses and a pair of brown shorts and a jacket.
At one point, Karen holds a large man’s shoe up to her cheek, and undoes the laces with her teeth.
At another point, Ray is romantically showered with rose petals and is seen wiping them off of his clothes.
The lyrics to her duet are as follows:
[Ray]:
Karen.
Karen O’Leary.
You really make my everything sing.
You are the wind beneath my wing.
[Karen]:
Well, Ray, I love you so much too.
And I do love your size 13 shoe.
Ray…
[Ray]:
...and Karen O’Leary.
A love so big it’s almost scary.
[Karen]:
A love that will never… end.
In the studio, Jeremy asks if Karen had fallen in love with a shoe, and Karen explains that, no, she had fallen in love with Ray. She goes on to explain she was playing both characters.
When Jeremy admits that he was impressed when she used her teeth to undo Ray’s shoelaces, Karen offers to do it again, and then gets down on the floor and does so. This makes Ray almost fall off his chair, and Mel has to hold him up as he yells “Hold me, Melanie!”.
Karen earns 2 points.
