Mel stabs Paul to death

Mel opens her present and is apparently disappointed to find out it’s a watch. She claims she’s never learned how to read an analogue watch, and then swears at Paul for giving it to her, though Paul insists that she can still learn.

She then calls Paul a “bastard” and punches him in the face. Paul retaliates by slapping her, and she responds by smearing cake on his face. Paul’s response is to gently crumble some crisps onto Mel’s back. Mel’s final response to this is to picks up a knife and stab him in the stomach.

While Paul starts to die, Mel starts panicking, insisting that she’d only slightly wounded him, and that he is being “dramatic”.

Paul then lies motionless on the ground, while Mel hyperventilates and repeats the phrase “This can’t be happening”.

She then blows a party blower and calmly leaves the lab.

Mel earns first place for her cold-blooded murder.
