Tammy uses the task brief

The majority of the footage of Tammy’s attempt is interspersed with flashbacks of her reading the task brief, to drive home just how early she disqualifies herself.

Tammy initially considers using the honey jar, once she’s emptied it, but realises that this would make the rice sticky and difficult to get into the bottle.

She therefore instead decides to use the task brief itself to move the rice, first trying to slide it underneath the pile, before just scooping up rice with her hands and placing it on the paper.

After carefully funnelling the majority of the rice into the bottle on her first trip, Tammy returns to the lab, sweeping the rest of the rice onto the task brief, and commenting to Antoine that she’s happy to be experiencing one of “those magical moments” where everything goes right.

Tammy is disqualified for both using something that wasn’t in the basket, and for touching the rice with her hands.
