Stian rewrites the answer

Stian – who had donned the snorkel to read the task brief – puts both his hands into the muddy pool, to feel around.

He removes his shoes, but does nothing to protect his socks or jeans before stepping in, and then sits down in the muddy water soon after.

Stian then tells Olli that he, himself, is the one at the bottom of the pool, as he is currently sitting in it.

In the studio, Atle tells Stian that his solution was literally and figuratively “ass”, but also a loophole that the production team had not foreseen, so he accepts it (despite the fact that the picture of Olli was still actually the thing that was at the bottom of the pool, underneath him).

Stian therefore completes the task in 4 minutes and 23 seconds, and earns second place.
