Tammy pops a balloon

Tammy leaves the room and comes back with a pack of chewing gum (not bubble gum). She acknowledges that the gum she’s found is not the best for blowing bubbles, but that she still wants to try.

As Tammy sticks several pieces of gum in her mouth, she tells Antoine that she believes that her bubble will be impressive. Antoine rhetorically questions if it is dangerous to make such a lofty promise.

After a few failed attempts at blowing bubbles, Tammy leaves the study and returns with a bag of balloons, reminding Antoine of the phrase “never be discouraged in the face of adversity”.

Tammy blows up and ties a pink balloon as large as she can, then sticks an open safety pin into one of her nostrils before using it to pop the balloon, which explodes directly onto her face.

In the studio, Louis responds positively to Tammy’s attempt, even though he had just previously shot down Kevin’s attempt which utilised a yoga ball. Due to this apparent double-standard, an argument breaks out among the contestants about whether either attempt should count (‘ballon’ can mean ‘ball’ or ‘balloon’), which leads to Antoine complaining that he misses the previous season’s contestants.

Louis awards Tammy third place.
