Christian trusts his instincts

Immediately after reading the task brief, Christian informs Olli that his instincts are telling him to take the needle to the bathroom. He admits that he does not know why his instincts are telling him to do this, but states that he will listen to them.

Unfortunately, Christian’s instincts also apparently tell him that there are exactly 99 balloons in the bathroom, so while he pops the balloons incredibly quickly – sitting on the toilet and covering one ear with his free hand as he does so – it is only after he finishes that he realises that he hadn’t bothered to count how many balloons he was popping.

Christian finishes the task in 57 seconds, but actually pops all 111 balloons so, after penalties, ends up with a final time of 12 hours and 57 seconds, and earns last place.
