The first task brief is held by Olli, who is standing at the bottom of the steps to the Kongen Befaler house. The second task brief is received within whatever location the contestant chooses. The briefs for the task are as follows:
Choose a weapon, and choose a room.
Burst 99 balloons.
You can only burst then with the weapon you chose.
If you burst fewer or more than 99 balloons, you gain an extra hour per balloon.

- Next to Olli at the bottom of the steps, there is a table covered in weapons, including a needle, a water gun, a machete, an axe, a samurai sword, a letter opener, and a pellet rifle.
- Every room of the house from which the contestants can choose (which include the caravan, the shed, the study, and the bathroom) contains 111 inflated red balloons.
