The initial task brief is laid on top of a Cluedo-style board representing the Bäst i Test house, in the lab. The second task brief is received in the contestant's chosen room. The briefs for the task are as follows:
Pick a room and a weapon, and await further instruction.
Pop 99 red balloons.
You must use your weapon to pop 99 red balloons.
Yell ‘Stop the timer!’ when you think you’ve popped 99 red balloons.
You have 10 minutes.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- The lab is dark, except for the table upon which the Cluedo-style board is set.
- The rooms depicted on the board are the hall, the lab, the kitchen, the shed, and Babben’s office (the study).
- Alongside the board, there are five cards, each depicting a different potential weapon: a cactus, a frying pan, a staple gun, a high-heeled shoe, and a belt.
