Dara pitches a rubber band-based game show

Before the task begins, Dara notices a rubber band next to the task brief on the table, and assumes that it’s part of the task. After finding out that it isn’t, he flicks it at Alex before reading the task brief.

He then asks to have the rubber band back, having come up with an initial idea involving it: he stretches the rubber band around his head, and then waits for it to spring off of the top of his cranium.

Attached to this idea, Dara then grabs handfuls of additional rubber bands and starts stretching them around his head, letting them fly off in turn, with his head getting increasingly red after each launch.

He evolves his idea further by suspending the task brief from a rubber band, hanging down in front of his face, and proposing a new game show format whereby celebrities have to guess “Who’s Behind the Paper?”. As he amps up the tension in his fictional face reveal show, he mimics a host telling the viewers to not go away, as the rubber band pops up along with the task brief, revealing Dara’s over-the-top happy face from beneath.

Dara “the performing rubber band man”, as Greg calls him, earns 4 points for his stupidity.
