Mauri takes his time
After reading the task brief, Mauri slowly moves the mini putting green so that it’s directly outside the door of the shed. He then picks up the bucket, and all of the balls spill out through the hole in the bottom.
While filling the golf hole with all of the balls he can recover from the floor of the shed and the ground beyond, Mauri takes time to gloat that at least one contestant will believe that they need to remain in the shed, and will either gather any balls that ended up outside of the shed with tools, or give up on them entirely (this contestant turns out to be Charlotta, whose footage is intercut with his correct predictions).
After filling the hole with as many balls as he can retrieve, Mauri notices that David has not yet stopped the clock, and questions why. After a lengthy game of ‘hot and cold’ with David, which Mauri does not seem to ever fully understand, he finds the drawer filled with additional golf balls, and starts also adding them to his hole in his remaining 20 seconds.
In total, Mauri gets 137 balls into the hole, and earns second place.
