Leo squanders a shortcut
As soon as Olli takes his picture, Leo voices his concern that the task will be to re-take the exact same picture.
Almost immediately after reading the task brief, Leo tells Olli that he will simply take a photo of the picture that Olli has just taken. He then carries the photo and camera into the caravan, holds the Polaroid against a wall, and snaps a new picture of it with the camera. He tells Olli that he is happy with his idea, and then leaves before even waiting to see how the new Polaroid turned out.
In the studio, Leo says that he has previously done a similar thing with old family photographs, as the negatives had been long lost (he tells Solveig that if she gets to play the dead mother card, he gets to play the war card).
Unfortunately for Leo, he still hasn’t learned much about camera flashes since his last encounter with them: not only is Leo’s picture misaligned, but it is also blurry and overexposed due to the flash.
Atle awards Leo last place.
