Everyone becomes Formula Egg drivers

Mauri writes a very quick one-word compliment and is adept at driving his radio-controlled car, both of which allow him to get onto the ramp unbothered by the other contestants. Mauri has approached the ramp’s speed bump by the time another contestant – Behrouz – has just started driving. As the other three contestants start their cars towards the ramp, Mauri’s car crosses David’s desk and starts up the small ramp to Babben’s desk, but then gets caught up on David’s whistle, which David has accidentally left on his desk. After David removes the whistle, Mauri completes the course, and Babben reads his compliment (“Sweet”).

Meanwhile, Behrouz and Johan are neck-and-neck on the ramp. Johan is more competent at driving his car than Behrouz is, which allows him to pull ahead just before reaching David’s desk, ultimately reaching Babben second (with his compliment being “The Best Babben”), with Behrouz almost immediately following in third place (with the compliment “The apple of my eye”, which Babben suggests Behrouz has either written in Persian, or very sloppily).

Charlotta’s car falls off of the ramp while she tries to get it over the speed bump, and this also appears to happen to Maria’s, off-camera. David returns both cars to their drivers to start again, with each writing new compliments on new eggs. Charlotta hits the ramp with enough speed that her egg bounces out of the eggcup, resting precariously on top of it instead. The egg then falls off of the car altogether, and remains on the speedbump, and Charlotta has to start again.

Charlotta then begins what will ultimately be her successful run, getting most of the way up the ramp just as Maria starts her final run. Maria’s car approaches the ramp with enough speed that the egg actually falls out of the eggcup before the car even reaches the ramp. David, however, is so engrossed with watching Charlotta try to carefully drive her car up the small ramp between David and Babben’s desks that he does not notice, and Maria has to yell at him to retrieve her car. After several unsuccessful attempts to get up the small ramp, Charlotta finally succeeds (with her compliment being “You’re lovely”), earning fourth place. Maria does not bother finishing the course, and earns last place.
