In this version of the task, the contestants are not provided with an eggcup for each egg. Also, the wording of the task allows for the possibility of not using all of the eggs.

The task brief is found next to or on top of a glass bowl full of eggs, on the table in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:
Place weight on eggs.
Most weight on eggs in 10 minutes wins.
10kg will be subtracted for every broken egg.

Task notes
- The fact that the task brief reads “on eggs” instead of “on the eggs” leaves open the possibility of not using all of the eggs, of which at least one contestant takes advantage.
