Johan is a terrible gambler
Johan bets two thirds of his chips on estimating the length of the table. Using his arms, Johan estimates that the table is 1.35 metres long. David shrewdly estimates that the table is 1.36 metres long. The table turns out to be 1.39 metres long, so Johan loses the bet.
David then bets on who can flick a poker chip closest to the edge of the table with a single flick. Johan once again loses this bet, and what appears to be half of his remaining chips.
Johan then bets on who can spin a poker chip for the longest. Unfortunately, Johan’s chip hits a stack of other chips and is stopped early, and so Johan loses yet again.
David then bets on who can flip a poker chip into a ceramic pig vase. After several misses by both men, David eventually wins, and graciously allows Johan to hang on to the single remaining chip he was about to flip.
In the studio, Johan eloquently describes his situation as “good confidence, bad performance”, which is a terrible combination at a casino.
With his one remaining chip, Johan earns last place.
