Behrouz bags the vases

Behrouz gets a length of cord from the shed, while outlining his plan to David: he will tie all of the vases together, and simultaneously pull all five off of their plinths. His plan encounters a small hiccup when he realises that he needs to touch the vases in order to attach the cord to them.

He searches the shed and emerges with a sleeping bag and a cloth and, after checking with David that using these items as a barrier would not count as him touching the vase, loads all five vases into the sleeping bag.

When David asks what Behrouz’s new plan is, now that the cord pull is no longer necessary, Behrouz says that he will drop all of the vases off of the balcony of the house.

Unfortunately, Behrouz just throws the entire sleeping bag off of the balcony and, as a result, two of the well-padded vases do not break upon impact with the ground.

Behrouz uses his foot to roll one of the vases, to check for breakage, thus officially starting his time (even though it should technically have started once it was revealed, seconds earlier, that at least one of the vases had been broken).

Behrouz throws one of the two unbroken vases against the ground to break it, but then takes several attempts to break the final one, which he finally smashes against the raised patio of the house.

Behrouz completes the task in 52 seconds, and earns last place.
