Maria tools up

After reading the task brief, Maria questions if she’s allowed to use tools to break the vases, and David assures her that she can.

Maria dons a pair of safety goggles and arms herself with both a hatchet and a mallet.

She starts by the vase closest to the shed, breaking it with her hammer. She then dashes to the next vase and pushes it over, but has to then double back when it does not break on impact with the ground. She quickly breaks the centre vase with the hammer, and then repeats this strategy with the remaining two vases.

Maria completes the task in 14 seconds, and earns first place.
