John’s “Grieg’s diaries”

John brings in the diaries of the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, i.e. “Grieg’s Diaries”.

When Alex questions whether the prize is truly ‘glorious’, John asks whether Alex has ever even listened to Grieg’s music.

When Alex notes that he’s read the book, and it’s mostly about Grieg’s unhappiness at school, John attempts to put some spin on it by recasting it as “his GLORIOUS unhappiness at school”.

Greg appreciates what John has done, and so awards him 4 points.
