Joanne's chip-filled boot
Joanne announces that she has switched up her prize task strategy by using a “basic bitch” approach to answer the task brief. When Greg stops her to ask what she means, she provides the examples of drinking wine bought from a petrol station, and buying clothes from Zara, to convey to him that a basic bitch is a “straightforward simplistic woman”.
Joanne’s prize submission is then revealed to be a platform boot filled to the brim with chips. Greg compliments the boot on its snazziness and hollow nature, but doesn’t understand why she has decided to add the chips. Joanne explains that the chips were added to make it more personal to Greg, which he interprets as her suggesting that he’s a “fat fuck” who would be distracted by the chips. Joanne clarifies that she had filled the boot with just a small portion of chips, out of respect.
Greg doesn’t really want the boot, so he awards Joanne 2 points.
