Joanne McNally
Biography
Joanne McNally (born on 7 May 1983) is an Irish stand-up comedian, writer and actress.
Her first one woman show, Bite Me - a show about eating disorders - was nominated for multiple awards including Best Performer, Best Production, and a First Fortnight award at the Dublin Fringe in 2016.
Her TV credits include co-hosting RTÉ 2's flagship comedy show, Republic of Telly, and appearing on The Blame Game (BBC NI), Women on The Verge (UKTV), The Late Late Show (RTÉ One), and The Tommy Tiernan Chat Show (RTÉ One).
She created, wrote, and presented the documentary Baby Hater, which was broadcast on TV3 in Ireland in 2018, and has been sold to 12 other countries.
In April 2022, she appeared on Channel 4's The Big Fat Quiz of Everything.
In September 2023, she co-presented a one-off special on E4 with Vogue Williams, titled Joanne & Vogue’s Sex Drive.
Her radio credits include BBC Radio 4's A Good Read, BBC Radio 5 Live's Sarah Brett Show, and a regular slot on 2FM's Mack the Week. She also has a weekly agony aunt section on RTÉ 2FM's Chris and Ciara Show, where she is called 'Dr Joanne'.
Joanne co-hosts a podcast called My Therapist Ghosted Me with her friend Vogue Williams.
She also writes a monthly column for Stellar magazine called 'Jo's World'.
