Episode synopsis

In this series finale, the contestants must bring in the thing that gives the most hope for the future of the human race, find and complete the real task, hug their special friend, create a new shiny floor American game show, and pop up from behind a wall.

Episode notes

  • Nick’s submission for the prize task involves a trick whereby he appears to correctly predicts his final score for the whole series, writing it inside a card which its is claimed remains inside a sealed envelope until Greg opens it at the end of the episode.

Title context

Sophie Willan explains to Greg that her character of ‘Cosmic Rhythm’ is providing “Ambience and information” during the ‘Create a shiny floor American game show’ task.

Taskmaster Intro

Hello! Hello. I'm Greg Davies. Welcome to the Taskmaster grand final! What a journey we've been on. We've seen the full smorgasbord of skills and intuition, and a woman from the north looking baffled. As we thunder into this final set of challenges, the ultimate prize of my gilded nut could go to any of them, apart from two of them who definitely can't win because they've been rubbish. So here they are.

Assistant Intro

And for the last time this series, a man who I always associate with a good night out, because he looks like a giant revolving kebab that a kid in bottom-set art has drawn a face on. It's little Alex Horne!
