Nick Mohammed
Biography
Nicholas George Mohammed (born on 4 October 1980) is a British actor, comedian and writer.
He is well known for his character Mr Swallow, which he has portrayed on stage and television for over a decade, including appearances on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (2018-2023), Harry Hill's Clubnite (2019), Comedians Giving Lectures (2019), and Rachel Riley's Rude Words! (2021).
He is best known internationally for portraying the character of Nathan Shelley in the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso (2020-2023), for which he received Emmy nominations in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category.
In 2010 he co-presented the BBC Three comedy series The King Is Dead, alongside Simon Bird and Katy Wix.
Between 2011 and 2013, he wrote and starred in two series of Detective Sergeant Nick Mohammed, a comedy set in a police station, for BBC Radio 4.
In 2018, he voiced Piglet in the Disney film Christopher Robin.
Since 2020, he has collaborated with David Schwimmer on the Sky One comedy series Intelligence, both writing and performing on the show.
In 2023, he appeared as a police officer in the film Maggie Moore(s), alongside Jon Hamm and Tina Fey.
His TV credits also include Reggie Perrin (2009), Pete & Dud: The Lost Sketches (2010), Miranda (2010), How Not to Live Your Life (2010), Life's Too Short (2011), Uncle (2014-2017), The Job Lot (2015), Fresh Meat (2016), Stath Lets Flats (2019 & 2021), and Inside No. 9 (2021).
