Episode 2: Jumungo

Photo of Patatas, the plush cat toy, gaffer-taped upside-down to a doorframe in the hallway of the Taskmaster house (referencing the 'The most fun thing to turn upside-down', 'Rescue Patatas from the dome', and potentially also the 'Stick the heaviest thing to the board' tasks), with the episode title, 'Jumungo', superimposed on it.

Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must bring in the most fun thing to turn upside-down, rescue Patatas from the dome, do something epic using green-screen, stick the heaviest thing to a whiteboard, and guess the movies that their team-mate(s) are saying.

Title context

Joanne McNally guessed that “Jumungo” was the title of one of the films during the ‘Guess the movie that your team-mate is saying’ task (it was actually Jumanji).

Taskmaster Intro

Hello, thank you. I'm Greg Davies. Welcome to Taskmaster, the only show on television that conclusively proves that all of life's struggles are ultimately pointless, and that the gods are just toying with us before death. And hello to all our younger viewers. Let the trials commence. Let's meet our five competitors from wildly different parts of the globe, like the north of England, Dublin, the north of England, the west of England, and the north of England.

Assistant Intro

And sitting next to me, a man who admitted to me that he photocopied an elderly relative’s blue parking badge, so that he could enjoy the ‘Hollywood spaces’ near the entrance to Tesco. It’s little Alex Horne!
