Nick creates a portrait of Sophie

To begin his portrait, Nick lays down the blanket as a background, instead of using the black canvas provided. He then uses the baguette and sunflowers to create an outline of Sophie’s head. For eyes, he fills two cocktail glasses with orange juice, complimenting Sophie on her “famously… bright orange eyes”.

To  represent Sophie’s skin tone, Nick spreads the trifle on the blanket. As he does this, he explains that it’s because “she’s obviously not blue”. Noticing the odour from the trifle, Alex asks Nick if Sophie smells, and Nick agrees that she does.

In the studio, Nick’s completed portrait is shown, revealing the finishing touches including a juice bottle nose, and lips made from what could be berries from the trifle. Nick admits that he thinks he did an alright job, and Greg observes that he’s definitely captured some of Sophie’s energy. When Sophie states that she thinks her portrait has a baffled look, Greg agrees and suggests that she’s turning around and saying “Huh?”.

Nick is awarded 4 points for his portrait, tying with Steve.
