Nick catches a fish
After reading the task brief, Nick scurries along the string to find its endpoint.
He follows it to the bathtub, before heading inside to the living room, and then to the kitchen. He notices the string running through the kitchen bin, and then follows it back out of the kitchen and into the lab, before returning to the living room.
Once back in the living room, he notices the string running into the hidden compartment in the bookshelf, and opens it to reveal the fish within.
After stopping the clock, Alex asks Nick what he feels about the fish, as Nick has said that he’s allergic to fish and seafood. Nick admits that he’s fine with this particular fish, as it is made from “whatever they make duvets out of”. After Alex thanks Nick, the door to the living room suddenly shuts, startling Nick, before he leaves the room.
In the studio, Greg says that he’d been worried that Nick had changed, based on his dynamic performance in the task, but was reassured that everything was fine once he’d seen Nick being startled by the door.
Whilst discussing Nick’s attempt, Alex refers to him as a “nimble little mouse”. Greg points out that Nick had simply not overthought the task, and so he advises all of the other contestants that perhaps they should also “stop thinking”.
Nick found the fish in just 3 minutes, so the nimble little mouse earns 5 points.
