Sophie catches a fish

Sophie immediately begins to follow the string, but doesn’t pull on it, presumably aiming not to break it.

After momentarily losing her way, she heads to the caravan, where she finds the locked safe box, but immediately dismisses it as a red herring.

After following the string further, she finds the key hidden in the dome. Returning to unlock the box, she discovers that the string merely travels through it, and that there are no further clues. Discontent with this discovery, she hopes out loud that everyone else has struggled as much as she has so far.

Sophie then makes her way inside the hutch, where she finds the mannequin. When Alex asks her if that’s what she’s caught, she agrees it could be, since it appears to be a dead-end. When Alex asks her if he should stop the clock, Sophie asks him what he thinks, as she is still a bit unsure. Looking directly into Alex’s eyes, she asks him if she’s caught a mannequin. Based on his reaction, she concludes that this is not the correct answer, and so starts following the string again. She explains that Alex’s eyes had “sparkled with delight” when she gave an incorrect answer.

Sophie decides to head inside the living room, where she notices the string disappearing into the fake bookshelf. Opening the secret compartment in the bookshelf, she finally finds the fish inside.

In the studio, Greg prompts Sophie to explain how she “uses people’s eyes in life”. She claims that it’s easy to read someone, based on their eyes, and then describes Greg as being “very sad”, and Alex as being “demonic”, as examples.

Sophie took 38 minutes and 10 seconds to find the fish. However, due to Steve’s disqualification, she earns 2 points.
