Nick’s good luck potion
Nick brings in a vial containing what he describes as a “good luck potion”, which had been made by his son.
His reasoning is based on the assumption that the granny in question is living the last few months of her life, and that when you’re “on the cusp” of death, “you need as much luck as you can get”, in order to have “a nice peaceful way out”.
In response to Nick’s, Joanne’s and Sophie’s prize submissions, Greg asks whether anyone had considered a “really sweet granny” while choosing their prizes, rather than “some blinged-up sex maniac, teetering on the verge of death”.
When awarding points, Greg reluctantly supposes that a potion that might stop a grandma from dying is “a bit kind”, and awards Nick 3 points.
