Nick eliminates everything else in the universe

As the golf caddy is released from the tent, it drives straight into the back of Nick’s legs.

Nick’s first question is “Are you human?”, to which he receives the response “Kiwi” (no). He follows up with “Are you smaller than a large tree?”, and receives the response “Donkey” (yes). He then asks “Do you have four legs?”, and receives the response “Californian condor” (no), then follows this up with “Do you have two legs?” and receives the answer “Bengal tiger” (yes). Nick asks the follower “Are you on TV?” (“Pygmy gerboa”/yes), and “Are you on BBC?” (“Capybara”/yes), before noting that he’s getting very close to the duck.

Nick eventually reaches the duck before identifying his follower, and Alex informs him that he can just keep pacing on the spot, while he continues asking questions.

Nick stands by the duck and asks if his follower is British (“Pygmy hippopotamus”/yes), if they are an athlete (“Northern shoveler”/no), and if they are a cartoon character (response not known, but a bird icon is displayed on-screen). He also asks “Are you a big grasshopper?”, “Are you a mascot of some kind?”, “Are you on the box of any kind of food-related stuff?”, and “Is it Alex?”, all of which receive negative responses (though they are not included in the edit).

Returning to the thread of questions relating to being on TV, Nick asks “Are you on a particular time of day?”, before specifying “Mid-afternoon?” (“Crane”/no), and then “Early evening?” (“Possum”/yes).

Recapping what he’s learned so far, Nick states “BBC, larger than a human but smaller than a large tree, walks on two legs”. He then asks “On BBC One?” and receives the response “Pangolin” (yes). After considering for a moment what might be airing on BBC One in the early evening, he guesses “Mr Blobby?”, and receives confirmation in the form of the answer “Pink fairy armadillo”.

In the studio, Greg puts it to Nick that he had asked “every question about every subject ever” before arriving at Mr Blobby. Nick states that it was a “process of elimination”, and Greg responds by saying “By eliminating everything in the world?”.

Having reached the duck before identifying his pursuer, Nick earns fourth place and 2 points.
