Sophie accidentally takes a peek

As the golf caddy is released from the tent, it almost drives straight into the back of Sophie’s legs, but Alex intercepts it.

Sophie is under the misapprehension that the individual following her is someone she knows personally.

Her first question is “Have you got blonde hair?”, to which she receives the response “Kiwi” (no). However, she is apparently not familiar with the species of bird named ‘Kiwi’, and is only aware of the fruit by the same name.

She starts to ask the question “Are we friends from school?”, but then abandons that in favour of “Did I meet you in the last five years?”, to which she receives the response “Common midwife toad” (unsure).

Continuing to try to identify someone she thinks she knows personally, Sophie asks “Are you over 30?” (“Donkey”/yes), “Have you used an Excel sheet?” (“Glaucous gull”/no), and “Have we ever been drunk together?” (“Common mudpuppy”/unsure; though it should be noted that the symbol of a bird is displayed on-screen at this point, rather than an amphibian). Presumably based on the fact that the latter response included the word ‘puppy’, Sophie interprets it as being in the affirmative.

Sophie eventually reaches the duck, and Alex informs her that she can remain there while she continues to try to identify her follower. However, she then picks up the entire plinth with the duck on it, and makes the decision that she is instead going to continue moving, but carry it with her. While she is discussing this plan, though, she turns around enough to see Mr Blobby, and admits that she has done so. After stating “It’s Mr Blobby!”, she receives the response “Pygmy gerboa” (yes).

In the studio, after recapping some of Sophie’s more unusual questions, Greg suggests that she had sounded “like a dropped Alexa”. Sophie fills Greg in on her presumption that the individual following her was going to be someone she knew personally, and admits that she’d thought it could have been her mate, Amy.

Greg confirms that Sophie is disqualified from the task for looking at Mr Blobby.
