Joanne kills a mannequin
Having read the task brief, Joanne takes the mannequin inside the caravan and insists that she not be disturbed.
At the start of her attempt, the caravan seems to be shaking, and Joanne can be seen through the window, bouncing up and down on top of the mannequin.
When Alex opens up the window to see what’s going on, Joanne asks for some privacy, and it’s then revealed that she’s actually trying to resuscitate the mannequin, which is lying on the bed wearing a windbreaker and propeller hat, and has one huge googly eye.
Joanne has attached clamps to various parts of its body and is trying to use an electric current to revive the mannequin, who she calls “Darren”. She yells at Darren not to give up on her, slapping him so hard that his eye falls off, before she pronounces him to be dead.
In the studio, Greg asks Alex what the task was again and, after receiving clarification, confirms that the objective was not “jumping on the corpse of a mono-eyed man”. Greg also points out that Joanne had full control over the narrative of her story, and yet had chosen to kill Darren.
Because a dead mannequin is the least alive it can be, Joanne earns just 1 point.
