Patrice makes a toga
Things start fairly well for Patrice, who makes a sort of toga out of the wrapping paper. However, he soon drops the tape he is using, and no one on the production team will pick it up for him.
He kicks the tape across the room and towards the couch, which allows him to awkwardly brace himself to lean down, his fingers barely able to grab the roll.
As all five contestants’ wrapping attempts are shown in a short montage together, not much else of Patrice’s preparations are shown.
When he is ready to present himself, Patrice falls forward onto the ground, so he can stick a bow on his head and lie beneath the Christmas tree, like an actual gift.
When Antoine enters the room, he unwraps Patrice, then turns to one of the camera crew and asks if they still have the receipt.
For “just laying on the ground”, Antoine awards Patrice fourth place.
