Episode synopsis

In this episode the contestants must bring in best thing to hang on a wall that wouldn't normally hang on a wall, complete the most tasks, make the best Russian nesting doll meal, get out of the front gate without setting of an alarm, and make their rubber gloves and wellies as heavy as possible.

Title context

'You’ve got no chutzpah' was one of the things Mike Wozniak said in an effort to undermine a vole, during the 'Complete the most tasks' task.

Alternate Titles

  • On Finland's MTV Katsomo streaming platform, this episode is titled 'Tuskaa ja maatuskaa', which translates as 'Pain and matryoshka dolls'. Unclear what the 'pain' part is referencing, but the matroyshka dolls are clearly a reference to the 'Make the best babushka meal' task. The title is punny in Finnish, since both words end in 'tuskaa'. [Translator credit: zador]
  • On Sweden's SVT Play streaming platform, this episode is titled 'Den stora babushka-banketten', which translates as 'The great babushka banquet'. This is a reference to the 'Make the best babushka meal' task. [Translator credit: DANI]

    Taskmaster Intro

Hello. I'm Greg Davies. Welcome to Taskmaster. This is my kingdom, and on the days when I'm not thrashing my surf, I seek out other entertainment. From the many corners of the land, I have gathered five jesters, and they have danced for me over a period of weeks. Soon, it will be time to select the finest of them all. He or she will be rewarded with gold, while the others are fired against the castle walls from a giant medieval trebuchet. I will then eat a load of pork and look great on a big horse. That's what's at stake. Let's meet those that will jest.

    Assistant Intro

And next to me is a man who makes me put the 'mean' into 'demean'. He's a hairy cylinder of subservience who once wet himself on a train when he was thirty! It's little Alex Horne!

    Taskmaster's Sign-off

So, what have we learned today? We've learned it's been confirmed that Charlotte Ritchie has a future as a children's television presenter. Her first show is called 'What's The Situation?' and, on it, she'll be joined by her two puppet sidekicks, Boing and Ganoosh. Only three to go. For now, let's see tonight's winner revel in his glory. It's Lee Mack!
