Episode 5: Fredrik Lindström guests
Episode synopsis
In this episode the contestants must extract and read a task brief, predict the outcome of a hobby horse race, inflate and introduce their balloon buddies, cover themselves in sticky notes, make the most dramatic entrance, walk 589 steps with David, and throw an egg through a basketball hoop.
Alternate Titles
- On Finland's MTV Katsomo streaming platform, this episode is titled 'Keppihevostelua', which translates as 'Stick horse riding'. This is a reference to the 'Predict the outcome of a hobby horse race' task. [Translator credit: zador]
Taskmaster Intro
It's 8pm on Friday, and what could be more apt than to watch a handful of adult humans solve tricky - but slightly silly - tasks together against the clock?
Assistant Intro
And speaking of trying to keep your dignity, or even having any at all, here's David Sundin.
Episode prize
The prize in this episode was a teacup resembling those on the teacup ride from the third task.
Episode stats
Episode scores
There are some discrepancies between the official total scores for this episode and the points seen to be awarded during the episode. Both sets of scores, and the discrepancies between them, are displayed below.
Notes on discrepancies
- The scoreboard updates align with the points observed to be awarded in this episode up until the scoreboard show after the sixth task.
- The differences in the points at that stage appear to suggest that there was an additional, unaired task which took place between the fourth and sixth tasks.
- Fortunately the discrepancies did not affect who was named as the winner of the episode or the series.
Unaired competition tasks shown in the bonus episode
The following tasks were included in the studio session for this episode, and points awarded were counted towards the contestants's totals, but they did not make the broadcast edit of the episode. However, they were later shown in the bonus episode, at the end of the season.
