Episode 1: A genuine earhanger
Episode synopsis
In this first episode of a new season, the fresh set of contestants must work out how many balls are in a basket, give Mark an unforgettable experience, drop a water balloon as far as possible without breaking it, create and perform a catchy song about something hanging in their ear, and pop up before a series of objects do.
Title context
'A genuine earhanger' (with 'earhanger' being the Danish equivalent of the word 'earworm') was a phrase used by Mark Le Fêvre, when introducing the 'Create and perform a catchy song about something in your ear' task.
Taskmaster Intro
Welcome to Stormester. We are back! And again I, Lasse Rimmer, am the self-willed judge of who are the failing sheep and who are the impressive goats. It's the sixth round in the ring of mischievous tasks, but the very first trip for our quintet of pretzel brains.
Assistant Intro
And by my side as always, my faithful assistant, Mark Le Fêvre. A little fun fact: Le Fêvre is French, and means 'the fork licker'.
Episode prize
The prize in this episode is a Bodil award (major Danish film award) won by Sebastian Klein's father, Jesper Klein, for best male lead in Balladen om Carl-Henning ['The Ballad of Carl-Henning'] in 1969.
Taskmaster's Sign-off
Two mice once whispered something in my ear: ‘Thanks for tonight.’
