Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Pop up before the thing.

You may only pop up once per round.

Closest pop before the thing pops wins.

If you pop up after the thing, you get zero points.

Task notes

The contestants are lines up on their seats on stage, but separated by screens to prevent them seeing what each other are doing.
In the first round of the task, they must pop up before toaster does.
In the second round, they must pop up before a jack-in-the-box.
In the final round, they must pop up before a large balloon bursts.
For each round, the contestants are assigned in-game points of between 0 and 5 points, according to their performance.
Their total in-game scores are then compared to decide who is the sole winner of the task.

She is first to pop up before the balloon pops, earning 1 in-game point. With just a single in-game point, she does not earn any actual points in the task.
Julie is the third to pop up before the toaster, earning 5 in-game points. He fails to pop up before the jack-in-the-box, earning zero in-game points. She is second to pop up before the balloon pops, earning 2 in-game points. With 7 in-game points, she does not earn any actual points in the task.
Simon fails to pop up before the toaster, earning zero in-game points. He is first to pop up before the jack-in-the-box, earning 4 in-game points. He is fourth to pop up before the balloon pops, earning 4 in-game points. With 8 in-game points, he does not earn any actual points in the task.
Martin is the second to pop up before the toaster, earning 4 in-game points. He fails to pop up before the jack-in-the-box, earning zero in-game points. He is last to pop up before the balloon pops, earning 5 in-game points. With 9 in-game points, he does not earn any actual points in the task.
Sebastian is the first to pop up before the toaster, earning 3 in-game points. He is second to pop up before the jack-in-the-box, earning 5 in-game points. He is third to pop up before the balloon pops, earning 3 in-game points. With a total of 11 in-game points, Sebastian earns the 5 actual points in the task.
