Season 4
Season synopsis
The fourth series of Kongen Befaler, consisting of 12 episodes, originally aired on discovery+ and TVNorge between September and December 2021.
The contestants for this extra long series were Amir Asgharnejad, Einar Tørnquist, Ida Fladen, Solveig Kloppen, and Steinar Sagen.
Notes
- According to show producer Bjørn Håvard Mittet, of Nordisk Banijay, it was only possible to produce eight episodes of season 3 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As Discovery had commissioned 20 episodes of the show for 2021, this meant that an additional two episodes had to be produced for season 4, instead.

Season scores
There are some discrepancies between the official total scores for this season and the points seen to be awarded during the season. Both sets of scores, and the discrepancies between them, are displayed below.
The following scores are correct as of the end of episode 12.
Notes on discrepancies
- Although the points totals show on the scoreboards for each individual episode match what is seen to be awarded during the episodes, the overall series scores show Solveig to have eight points fewer than she actually has.
- It is not yet known when this discrepancy occurred.
- Though the error did not affect who was ultimately named as the winner of the series, it did affect Solveig's final standing: she actually placed fourth overall, in front of Amir, rather than last.
