In this multi-round version of the task, the contestants have to pop up before a toaster and a jack-in-the-box, and then before a large balloon pops. The contestants are scored for each round with up to 5 actual episode points, giving a maximum possible score of 15, but earn zero points in each round if they pop up after an object.

Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Pop up before the object, but only just.
You are only allowed to pop up once.
Closest to pop before the object pops wins the round.
If you pop up after the object, you get no points for that round.
Task notes
- The contestants are seated side-by-side on stage, separated by partition screens so they cannot see one another.
- In the first round, they must pop up before the toast in a toaster, stood on a small plinth in front of them.
- In the second round, they must pop up before a Jack-in-the-box, which is operated by Louis.
- In the third round, they must pop up before a giant balloon bursts, as it is inflated by an electric pump.
