Episode 6: A scam
Episode synopsis
In this episode, the contestants must bring in the most underestimated thing, work in teams to transport an onion, make a moustache out of something unexpected, fill a tray with items beginning with the same letter, make a balloon hover, and count to 13 as a group.
Title context
Richardson Zéphir muses that the contestants are being asked to create “a scam”, during the ‘Make a moustache out of something unexpected’ task.
Assistant Intro
For years, we’ve seen him accompanying folks making omelettes in half-clean kitchens. He’s my nearly-perfect assistant, Antoine Vezina!
Note: Antoine hosts the show Un Souper Presque Parfait (‘A Nearly-Perfect Supper’), the Quebecois adaptation of the British show Come Dine With Me, in which five amateur chefs host dinner parties for one other, and decide who wins a cash prize.
Episode stats
Episode scores
There are some discrepancies between the official total scores for this episode and the points seen to be awarded during the episode. Both sets of scores, and the discrepancies between them, are displayed below.
Notes on discrepancies
- Virginie is shown on the final episode scoreboard as having earned 1 more point that she actually did. This error appears to have occurred when the points for the live task were added to the episode scores. Instead of jumping from 17 points to 20 points, based on the 3 points she was awarded in that task, her score jumped up to 21 points.
Winner notes
- Due to the mix-up over Virginie’s score in the live task, she was named a joint winner of the episode, along with Arnaud, when she should not have been.
Guests
Ève appears as a third member of Alex Perron and Virginie Fortin's team during the 'See no onion, hear no onion, speak no onion' task.
