Episode synopsis
In this season premiere, the contestants must bring in the most misunderstood thing, hide some van keys from Tom Cashman, advertise a specific finger, touch one of their team-mate’s things with one of their things, and hang their hangers on a clothes rack.
Title context
Emma Holland claims that “There is nothing I love more in this world than wasting a man’s time.”, during studio discussion of her attempt at the ‘Lose the van keys’ task.
Taskmaster Intro
Hello, and welcome to a brand-new series of Taskmaster Australia. It’s a new season, and that means everything is bigger and better. And by everything, I mean my car park and my pay cheque. As a result, it must be said, everything else has really suffered. And despite complaints that the chocolate inside tastes a lot like polystyrene, we’ve got ourselves another trophy of my dome up for grabs.
Assistant Intro
And, once again, physically by my side, yet hierarchically well beneath me, it’s lesser Tom Cashman.
Taskmaster's Sign-off
Well, there we go. What have we learned? Well, we learned that no matter what it is or where it’s been, it’s probably been up Tommy’s arse. We learned that Dave Hughes has a dead dog and a propensity for snitching. And those things might be connected. Most of all, we’ve learned that Emma is the winner.
