Task briefs

The task brief for each contestant is attached to the top of an exercise ball, either on the dock, or at another point around the edge of the lake. The briefs for the task are as follows:

To Lisa:

Make one of your green things touch one of your team-mate’s red things.

You must remain within your designated zones.

To Dave:

Make one of your red things touch one of your team-mate’s green things.

You must remain within your designated zones.

To Emma:

Make one of your green things touch one of your team-mate’s red or yellow things.

You must remain within your designated zones.

Also, every 30 seconds you must wave to your team-mates and introduce yourself again.

Make one of your red things touch one of your team-mate’s green or yellow things.

Task notes

One member of each team completes the task on the dock, while one completes it on the opposite bank of the lake. For the team of three, the third contestant completes the task from another point on the edge of the lake.
Each contestant’s designated area is defined by a ring of small traffic cones.
In addition to the exercise ball, each contestant is supplied with a life ring, a football, three frisbees, three rolls of gaffer tape, 10 pool noodles, a coil of rope, and a fishing rod (all of which have been painted the same colour).
In addition, the contestant on the dock has a radio-controlled boat, the contestant opposite them has the controller for the boat (and what appears to be an iced cake).
In the team of three, the third contestant has an inflatable pool lilo and a smaller ball, and their cones are stacked up and apparently part of their supplies, rather than beings used to define their designated area.
