Frensham Common and Ponds
Frensham Common is a large Site of Special Scientific Interest heathland covering 373 hectares, which includes two lakes known as Great Pond and Little Pond. It is owned and operated by the National Trust, and managed by Waverley Borough Council.
The area is popular with visitors, particularly in summer months. Swimming is allowed at the Great Pond, within marked areas. A sailing club also operates on the Great Pond. Both ponds have car parking, toilets, cafés, and picnic areas.
The Common and ponds have been used as a filming location for productions including The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959), Carry On Jack (1963), the Doctor Who serial The Highlanders (1966), The Riddle of the Sands (1979), Carry On Columbus (1992), The Mummy (1999), Snow White and The Huntsman (2012), The Witcher (2019), and The Witcher: Blood Origin (2022).

The Common and its ponds were used as a filming location for tasks during series 5 of Taskmaster UK.

The location was first seen during the 'Get Alex to dry land' task, in the first episode of series 5.
