Original version
In this version of the task, the contestants must attempt to come up with the most brilliant new use for a roll of tape. They are not permitted to waste any of the tape.
Adaptations
In this version of the task, the contestants get to choose whether to come up with the most or least ingenious use for a roll of tape. Only the new uses for tape judged by the Taskmaster to be the most or least ingenious receive any points.
