Direct the robot to its charging station
- In this task, the contestants must direct a person wearing a robot costume to a charging station.
- They either must, or may only, provide instructions to the robot on a regular schedule (e.g. every 10 or 15 seconds).
- The robot may ignore instructions which contain certain letters.
Original version
In this version of the task, the contestants must provide instruction to the robot every 10 seconds, and the robot ignores any instructions containing the letters 'O' or 'E'. The contestants are prohibited from touching the robot. The person inside the robot costume is the Taskmaster's assistant.
Adaptations
In this version of the task, the contestants may only give the robot an instruction every 15 seconds, and the robot will continue to follow that instruction until they give a new one. The robot only ignores instructions which contain the letter ‘E’. There is no rule prohibiting the contestants from touching the robot. Also, the person inside the robot costume is not the Taskmaster’s assistant.
