Suurmestari season 3 air date and cast announced

We've been waiting some time for news on when season 3 of Finland's Suurmestari might air, having learned last year that the studio segments were being recorded in November 2021. On Monday we finally found out more, thanks to an announcement via MTV3Suomi's official Instagram account.

It has now been announced that the series will begin airing from 16 April 2022.

The fixed panel of contestants for the season will consist of Anna-Maija Tuokko (actor), Jenni Pääskysaari (presenter), Mikko Penttilä (actor, and guest contestant in season 1), and Riku Rantala (travel writer).

The guest contestants for the season will be: Anna Puu (singer-songwriter); Dennis 'Ätä' Nylund (actor); Erika Vikman (singer-songwriter); Jarno 'Jarppi' Leppälä (stunt performer and fellow member of The Dudesons, alongside season 1 contestant Jukka Hildén); Mikko 'Pyhimys' Kuoppala (rapper); Mikko Kuustonen (singer-songwriter, and father of the season 1 guest contestant and season 2 fixed contestant, Minka Kuustonen); Minna Haapkyla (actor); Pasi 'Stig' Siitonen (singer-songwriter); Pekka Strang (actor); and Vappu Pimiä (presenter).
