Say hello to David from the farthest possible distance.
David must be able to see and hear you when you say hello.
He will show you this sign if he hears you.
You have 15 minutes to choose your and David’s positions.
During this time, you have an unlimited number of attempts.
The farthest distance at which David sees and hears you say hello wins.
Your time starts now.

- David hands the contestants a pair of binoculars, and a golf cart is available for their use.
- The sign David is to make if he can hear the contestants when they say hello is a thumbs-up.
