The task brief is attached to a spade embedded in the driveway at the side of the Taskmaster house, where David awaits next to a helium balloon which is anchored to the ground on a long string. The brief for the task is as follows:
Place the balloon as low as possible in relation to its current position.
The one whose balloon is the lowest in exactly 20 minutes wins.
Your time has already begun.

- A golf cart is available to the contestants if they wish to transport the balloon away from the house.
