Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Simon first uses his butt to break the board in half, by taking a running jump at the board. Then, despite worrying that it’s an obvious choice, he uses a hatchet to make a hole in the wood. He uses an NFL helmet he finds in the house to hold the two boards together, then sticks his construction into the open door of the Stormester house, declaring that the whole thing is a luxury birdhouse. As the only contestant to use unique tools throughout the entire process, Simon wins by default.
  • After attempting to split the board with a shovel, Jonas uses an electric saw to cut off a small end of the board. He continues using the saw to cut out a portion of the shed door. He then uses an electric drill to drill a hole in the small board. He sticks the small board into the hole he made in the shed, declaring that the entire shed is now a birdhouse. When challenged by Lasse, Jonas says the tool he used to assemble the birdhouse was his hands. Jonas is disqualified for not using tools for all three rounds.
  • First, Linda uses Mark to split the board, by having him bounce on it until it breaks apart (this takes quite a while). She then uses a heavy rock to nail the boards together. She also somehow attaches the boards to Mark. Inexplicably, she also puts large fruits on her fingers to create “unique gloves”, which she does not need to do. She hangs some sort of circular dish scrubber on top of her birdhouse. Despite the fact that she used Mark instead of herself, Linda is disqualified for breaking the board with her foot, which other contestants also did.
  • First, Tobias steps on the board to break it apart. He then uses an electric saw to cut a hole into one of his boards. He uses duct tape to tape his birdhouse together. Tobias is disqualified for breaking the board with his foot, which other contestants also did.
  • First, Sofie steps on the board to break it apart. She uses tin foil to hold the pieces together. She then uses the opening at the top of her birdhouse, left behind after she joined it with foil as the hole, claiming that her birdhouse is meant for a stork, and the opening is for the stork to put its leg in. Sofie is disqualified for breaking the board with her foot, which other contestants also did.
