Attempts
Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!
- Simon cuts one of the ropes off of one of the tire swings and twists the rope as much as he can. He then has Mark crawl into the tire before letting go. Mark rotates 69 times, and Simon wins the task.
- Sofie sits Mark on one of the tire swings, and twists the ropes holding the tire together as much as she can manage, predicting that she will get Mark to rotate 45 times. Mark actually rotates 49 times, and Sofie comes second.
- Jonas decides to treat Mark to a ‘Tequila Slam’. This involves Mark chugging a glass of tequila, and Jonas slamming him over the head. Jonas reasons that the combination of tequila and pain will throw off Mark’s internal inertia, and cause the world to spin for him. Mark chugs a glass of about three shots of tequila, and Jonas hits him on the head (helmet) with a carpet beater (the production team overruled his original desire: to hit Mark with a shovel). Jonas comes fourth.
- Linda puts Mark in a desk chair and hands him a leaf blower. She starts him spinning, intending for the leaf blower to keep the momentum of the chair going, which it does for a while. Mark rotates 41 times, and Linda comes third.
- Tobias searches the Stormester garage, and emerges with a mobility scooter (the same one stolen by Heino Hansen in S3, only to be returned as his prize task entry). He tells Mark to just keep driving the scooter in a circle – Mark later reveals that it was four hours until the battery ran out. In the studio, Jonas points out that the task said that the rotation should be around Mark’s own axis; Lasse agrees that what Mark actually did in Tobias' solution was to rotate in a circle around a fixed point. Tobias comes last.
