Wil’s shortbread
Wil brings in some shortbread. He says that while it is delicious, it’s not bread.
He points out that you can go to a sandwich shop and choose from many different types of bread, but they won’t make a sandwich using shortbread.
A photo of a ham salad sandwich made using two pieces of shortbread is shown on screen, and Tom Gleeson points out that making it into a sandwich had just made it look more like bread.
Josh argues it just looks like bread that is short, but then calms down and says he doesn’t want to be seen as lashing out because his “chlamydia was bad”. Tom interrupts and says, “to use your criteria, Josh if you didn’t know what bread was or what the word ‘short’ meant, you’d have no idea that was shortbread”.
Wil joins in by saying, “by your criteria, that’s chlamydia”, and Josh says that if he was offered a “chlamydia sandwich” he’d think “Yum!”.
Wil earns 3 points.
