Anne brings her own bird

Anne begins by pulling the end of her nose up with some tape, which she informs Tom terrifies her two-year-old child. When Tom Cashman asks why she does it, she responds that it’s “something to do”.

Tom is then seen standing, holding a mannequin’s leg, a bird ornament, and a zebra. Anne puts some tape on his nose, too, and says he’s turning into a “pigman”. She then drapes a large piece of fabric over his head, and wraps it around him and the zebra.

She then wraps a blue piece of fabric around her own head, making herself resemble the Virgin Mary, and says to Tom, “Joseph, an angel came to me last night and said I’m going to have the Son of God.” When Tom asks if the angel was a “bloke”, Anne says yes, adding “big bloke, huge bloke, huge dick”.

Anne then cuddles up to Tom and lays her head on him as he blows his whistle and gives her the second task brief.

They make their way slowly over to the sunflower patch, with Tom still holding all of the items Anne gave him, and dragging the zebra along. Anne comments, along the way, that it is a little bit reminiscent of the journey to Bethlehem.

She is then seen “riding” the zebra, stating “God, you wouldn’t want to be on this pregnant, would you?”.

When they reach the sunflower patch, Anne puts the zebra down and places the mannequin leg sticking up between its back legs, before claiming that it’s eaten and is now shitting out a human.

Footage from the motion-activated camera shown in the studio reveals that no live birds had entered the sunflower patch. However, it is then revealed that Anne had placed the bird ornament near the zebra.

When Tom Gleeson confirms that the bird ornament counts as a bird, Lloyd attempts to protests on her behalf, leading Anne to comment on “how romantic” he is. Wil, who Anne had joked was the father of her baby earlier on in the episode, chips in to say that he was too.

Anne is disqualified from the task because of her bird ornament.
