Jenny’s parental care plan
Jenny says that her parents are expecting her to care for them when they get older, so she brings in an information pack for the retirement home she is planning on sending them to.
The leaflet states that there is a 110% dissatisfaction rate, because it’s the cheapest retirement home in the country, and the nurse who works there (who turns out to be Jenny) is the nastiest.
When Tom Gleeson argues that it’s nice to be looked after by your own daughter, Jenny points out that she has no nursing qualifications. When Tom suggests that misplaced parental pride might shadow that fact, Jenny asks “Who says they had pride?”.
Jenny earns 2 points.
